Central proclamations of faith of the four Abrahamic World Traditions with ties to the Holy Land.  Inserted into a crack in the Western Wall by LWIN Board Member Ted Brownstein.

Translations from top to bottom:

Hebrew (Jewish): Hear, O Israel, the Lord Thy God, the Lord is One.

Aramaic (Christian): Our Father who art in Heaven (first phrase from Lord’s or Our Father Prayer).

Arabic (Muslim): There is no God, but God.

Farsi (Bahá’í): O Most Glorious God.

The Bahá’í nine-pointed star represents the Oneness of Religion. Each point of the star corresponds to the source of light for a Founding Prophet of a World Religion (in time of appearance on earth) such as, but not limited to:  Abraham, Krishna, Buddha, Moses, Zoroaster, Jesus, Muhammad, the Bab and Baha’u’llah.

The Oneness Sun Symbol is a recent creation as an instantly recognizable representation of the Oneness of World Religion.
